While I was moving across the different islands throughout the map, the game was smooth and stutter-free. This game has an interesting hovering perspective where the player focuses on exploration and expansion across the fantasy world. Total War: WARHAMMER II/ Rosetta 2: As I moved from village to village in Total War: WARHAMMER II, I was getting an average FPS of 30-40 on high quality presets at 1440 x 900 resolution. I moved from room to room, sold a property, and interacted with characters throughout with no latency or issues. The M1 handled this game with ease producing 50-60 FPS efficiently throughout the gameplay. After downloading the game from Steam, I set it up to run on high quality presets at 1650 x 1050 resolution. This title isn't too complicated or graphically intensive, so the MacBook Pro handled it with ease.Įmpire of Sin/ Rosetta 2: Empire of Sin is a new game released in early December where the player assumes the role of a 1920s mob boss in Chicago. Like Dota 2, the game had no freezes or shutdowns throughout the testing. Throughout the duration of the game testing, I was getting 60 FPS consistently with little variation. Perhaps if Windows does end up possibly being able to be run on the M1 (or next iteration) I may finally end up bumping off this 11 year old rig. With the new Windows 11 just around the corner and the prospect of x86 to ARM emulation layers becoming ever more important with the push for ARM helped along by the M1, I can see massive potential improvements just around the corner. (talking about the one you did via CrossOver) That's mad impressive. Judging by the numbers your getting here your nipping on the heals of my Mac Pro 5,1 and your even running it in an emulation layer with an older physics build than I am.
I am gonna stick myself in here mostly because I am interested if any improvements end up being made on this (via emulation or otherwise) I have no way of tracking FPS as of yet, (maybe someone knows how?) all games that have worked so far resulted in smooth gameplay.
